More My Page in the 90s character stills released even though C-drama has now ended
My not-even-remotely guilty pleasure C-drama My Page in the 90s has now released all of its 24 episodes, but that hasn’t stopped Tencent still dropping promo pieces.
Something else I love, as Lin Huan Er and Gao Hai Ming are one of my favorite Chinese drama couples in quite a while.
The latest batch of My Page in the 90s character stills came out this morning via Tencent Video’s social media accounts, and feature three each of Lin Huan Er (played by Wang Yu Wen) and Gao Hai Ming (Chen Xing Xu).
Two of Lin Huan Er’s stills have her at work at Letao, while the other one shows her having a good time out drinking with Meng Meng, Tie Han, and Hai Ming.

Meanwhile, Gao Hai Ming’s three character stills have him in bed sick, at the airport arriving back from Italy after Huan Er thinks his plane has gone down in a ball of fire, and out drinking with Huan Er and her friends.

The Chinese drama itself ran on Tencent Video from January 22nd to January 31st. WeTV is streaming it internationally.
Is My Page in the 90s worth watching?
As romance dramas go, it’s not one of the “the norm” as it follows love advice YouTuber Lin Huan Er as she gets transmigrated back into the 1990s and into the pages of a novel where she soon finds herself falling in love with Gao Hai Ming, the CEO of a company she forces to hire her.
The problem is, she is supposed to make him fall in love with her because, if she can, according to the video game system that seems to be controlling the world, she will then be transported back to her own world and time.
And all while having to complete certain “quests”, or she will be punished.
All very well and good, but what happens when she realizes her feelings for him? How does she prolong her time in the novel so she can persuade him to return her feelings?
The premise is wildly unique, the aesthetics of the retro world are incredibly cool, and the chemistry between the two leads is palpable.
And especially enjoyable for me as, up to Chen Xing Xu starring in this one and in Love Between Lines at the same time, I always thought he was a bit creepy.
Now I am one of his biggest fans.

My Page in the 90s also stars Kido Ma, Zeng Meng Xue, Wang Han Wen and Yu Xiang. with the entire cast doing a terrific job of pulling you into their world, and making you wish you were there instead of Lin Huan Er
The first 21 episodes are now streaming for VIP subscribers on WeTV internationally, while the final three are available for Express subscribers.
They should release for VIP members within the next couple of days.
Can I also just add, if you must head over to My Drama List to check out other viewers’ comments, ignore the stupidly low 7.8 out of 10 the usual suspects that troll that site are awarding (if that’s what you want to call it) the C-drama.
The performances of Chen Xing Xu and the equally fantastic Wang Yu Wen alone are worth far more than that.
