Chinese actress Esther Wang (aka Wang Jia Jia) turned 42-years-old today, with iQIYI releasing a visual of the Chinese actress starring in the upcoming murder mystery Inseparable to celebrate.
The message from iQIYI that arrived with the visual said:
Flowers bloom from the mud, happiness is found amidst fireworks. Happy birthday to Lin Meiyue (aka Esther Wang). May you have peace and good fortune.
Wang’s 20-year-career shows no signs of slowing down
Wang, of course, has been a mainstay of the Chinese drama industry since she appeared in a supporting role in the 2006 drama My Own Swordsman and, twenty years later, her career is still going gangbusters with the actress seeming to always be in demand.
Since her 2006 start, she has appeared in around 25 major dramas, including supporting roles in The Long Season and Drifting Away, and main roles in dramas like last year’s recent Uncle, Supersensory Maze, and the even more recent The Silent Rift.
She was also one of the ensemble cast of the superb Shenzhen-focused multiple-stories drama The Miracles, which came out at the end of last year and ran through January of this.
We should also see her in main roles in the upcoming Inseparable, The Vanishing Beauty and Feng Pei Dao Di later this year, although the latter may not drop until 2026.
