The just-released tomb raider-themed C-drama Time Raiders (aka 吴邪私家笔记) dropped on WeTV (Tencent Video) this morning, and it’s already going gangbusters with a 22,000 on the platform’s heat index so far.
Along with a mini celebration for that milestone, Tencent has also dropped six Time Raiders character visuals so viewers can get a closer look at their favorites.

Time Raiders also features a stellar cast that includes main cast Francis Ng (Land of the Condors), Cao Lei (The Lost National Treasure), and Xu Zhen Xuan (The Journey of Legend), with a supporting cast featuring Cheng Xiang (The Journey of Legend), Daisy Li (Fall in You), and Ma Jing Jing (The Land of Warriors).
The first four episodes of Time Raiders are now streaming on WeTV, although only Episode 1 is available for non-subscribers, while subscribers can also watch Episodes 2 and 3, but not Episode 4, which is still just for people willing to pay for Express.
Episode 4 will drop for subscribers tomorrow. Check it out. And yep, I have just watched Episode 1 so far.
It features a scary opening forecasting things to come, a good set up of the main characters, and an intriguing story. Love the cinematography and sets too. Very nicely done.
Yep, I do find Wu Xie supremely annoying <smile> but hopefully he will become less so as time goes on. (The character, not actor Xu Zhen Xuan, btw, as he is doing a great job so far.
