It seems to me that July must be the month for Chinese actor birthdays as, almost every day Tencent, iQIYI or YOUKU have been releasing lovely birthday visuals wishing this or that actor a happy day.
The latest I noticed today is from Tencent Video, and is a birthday wish visual for Chinese actor Ren Hao who turns 30 today.
The first visual is of Ren Hao dressed as Li Huai An (see above), the guest role he plays in Tencent’s historical romance Zhu Yu (aka Pursuit of Jade) that is also likely to drop this year. (Update: It premiered on March 6th).
The second visual comes in the form of a still (below) from Hilarious Family 2 (aka Fen Fang Xi Shi) of Ren Hao dressed as Jing Kan, the lead role he plays in the upcoming historical comedy romance, which is due to premiere on Tencent some time in 2025.
Yep, Ren Hao has been a busy man recently, eh?
Tencent also commented about Ren Hao’s birthday by referencing his latest characters, while also mentioning a previous character he played in the first season of the C-drama Hilarious Family:
