PLOT
In the online game “Glory,” Ye Xiu (played by Yang Yang), a top-tier player known as the textbook of excellence, is expelled from his club for various reasons.
After leaving the professional scene, he is taken in by Chen Guo (played by Jiang Shu Ying), the owner of Xingxin Internet Cafe, and becomes a night-shift attendant.
But, with ten years of gaming experience, Ye Xiu has no intention of abandoning his beloved “Glory.” He reactivates his account under the ID “Lord Grim,” wielding an unfinished self-made weapon, the Myriad Manifestations Umbrella, and dives into the newly launched Tenth Server of the game. This marks the beginning of his plan to return to the pinnacle of success.
As the unspecialized character Lord Grim, Ye Xiu shines brilliantly in the Tenth Server. During his journey in the new server, he meets many new friends and forms a powerful team, embarking together on a path of glory in pursuit of their dreams.

Premiere Details
The King’s Avatar premiered on Tencent Video on July 24th, 2019 and ran for 40 episodes until ending on August 30th, 2019.
There is currently a Season 2 in production, but with no official premiere date released as of yet.
