With the latest Ao Rui Peng drama, Coroner’s Diary, dropping on iQIYI next week, don’t be too surprised to learn the upcoming historical mystery series has just passed the 2 million reservations mark.
That follows on from the 1 million pre-orders it had already earned by June 23rd – doubling the number of people interested in the Chinese drama in under two weeks.
That feat was announced on iQIYI’s Weibo account earlier today, along with a very pretty celebratory poster of main leads Landy Li (Love of Nirvana) and Ao Rui Peng (The Seven Relics of Ill Omen).
The pair are obviously in the middle of some kind of investigation, as he is inhaling the smell of something on a paper she is proffering to him.
A message from iQIYI was also released via their Weibo page saying:

Other promotional visuals released for the mystery drama include the two character posters of the two leads, which came out last week.
