They then tagged the Created in China main cast via their Weibo accounts — Zhang Xin Cheng, Song Zu Er, Wang Yan Lin, Ren Cheng Wei, He Yu Hong and Zhu Yu Chen.

Now, I am fascinated by the premise of this Chinese drama as, let’s face it, the technological and societal advancements of China over the last thirty years or so have been absolutely massive.
So much so, in many areas nowadays — fast, clean and efficient public transportation, AI development, automated manufacturing, for instance — China is far ahead of the United States, the European Union (EU), the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, many countries in Asia, most countries in Africa and South America etc etc etc.
And Created in China, which takes place in the 1990s, takes a look at the beginnings of this societal and technological revolution.

In other words, if you are remotely interested in any of this, and I am so interested, I am watching Created in China on CN Drama’s YouTube channel, you can watch it on there as well.
Starting with Episode 1.
Created in China premiered on Tencent Video in China on June 18th, and on CN Drama internationally, with Episode 7 currently the latest one released.
Just a few episodes in, but already enjoying the premise and loving the down-to-earth but often go-getter characters, I recommend you give the first few episodes a try. It’s different than the usual wuxia offerings, but excellent nonetheless.
