Sniper Butterfly climbs from 23,000 to 26,000 in a week
Update, December 15th: The Chinese romance drama has now hit 27,000 on the heat index — see celebratory visual before.
Like I said a few days ago about the idiots trashing C-drama Sniper Butterfly because it features an “age gap couple” (who gives a sh*t honestly!), I am beyond thrilled every time I look at the Tencent Video heat index, and see Sniper Butterfly is still flying high.
So much so that, soon after it premiered December 4th, the Chinese contemporary romance drama had already passed 23,000 on the heat index and now, just a week later, it has now climbed past 26,000.
And, for those who are unfamiliar with Tencent’s heat index and how it operates, you can learn more about heat indexes in general here on Michelle Topham, or just know that any drama that hits 28,000 is thought of as being very popular and very successful.
So yay for Sniper Butterfly, eh?

The latest milestone for the Michelle Chen and Daniel Zhou-led drama also came with a new poster, but this time featuring all six of the main actors that make up the three couples — including Liu Rui Lin, Chen Xiao Yun, Roy Xie and Cheng Ya Zhao — as the three storylines have now intertwined.
Meanwhile, the drama has 18 episodes now streaming on Tencent and on WeTV internationally, and will end its 30-episode run on December 20th.
