Bai Lu turns 31 today and, in celebration, Tencent Video has released a birthday visual featuring the Chinese actress in her role as Ye Li in the upcoming C-drama Mo Li.
The drama itself only began filming on May 31st this year, with no announcement yet as to filming wrapping up.
So, yep, if the drama eventually passes China’s strict review system, it will be at least 2026 before we see Ye Li herself. Fingers crossed, eh?

Mo Li is one in a slew of recent Chinese dramas starring Bai Lu, with her most recent — Feud (gorgeous visuals), Northward and Moonlight Mystique — airing earlier this year.
The now-31-year-old actress is also starring in the upcoming Unveil: Jadewind, which will be streaming on Netflix internationally along with WeTV.
