To no surprise to anyone who is watching the utterly superb Chinese historical mystery drama Fated Hearts, its male lead Feng Sui Ge, played by actor Chen Zhe Yuan, has just earned 300 million character popularity points.
Come on, we all expected that it would get to this when he had already garnered 100 million on the day Fated Hearts dropped it first episodes.
iQIYI announced the popular character’s latest accolades today with a short message, and two quite beautiful visuals featuring Chen Zhe Yuan.
One visual for the 200 million character popularity points he first earned earlier in the day, followed by another one a few hours later when his character, Feng Sui Ge, topped 300 million. (below and above)

The storm is over, the war is over, and October has you, and it lived up to expectations!
And, if you asked me, I would say Fated Hearts not only lived up to expectations, it far exceeded them.
As can be seen by the superb rating the C-drama has earned on MyDramaList (8.8 out of 10, which is crazy high for that website), and by viewers’ comments on the same site, which are hugely complimentary.
The enemies to lovers drama itself proved to be one of the standouts of 2025 as, right from its incredibly intense, and well-written first episode, it got off to a roaring start and never once let up. Right through all 38 episodes.
So much so, as someone who tires very easily of so many Chinese dramas (I’ve seen hundreds of them, so it takes a lot to grab me, pull me in and keep me obsessively coming back), I was obsessing over this thing, and its main characters, like I haven’t in a while.
In other words, well done to Chen Zhe Yuan for earning Feng Sui Ge those 300 character popularity points. He, and the character he wonderfully portrayed, deserve every single one of them.
All 38 episodes of Fated Hearts, which ended its run yesterday, and which also stars the equally brilliant Li Qin, are now out on iQIYI.
And let me just assure you, if I were only allowed to recommend a handful of Chinese dramas this year, Fated Hearts would easily be one of them.
Update: Fated Hearts has now reached 9,158 on the iQIYI heat index – yep, it’s a huge success!
