Chinese actor Chen Zhe Yuan, star of the recently-ended Fated Hearts, turns 29-years-old today and, in celebration, he just got an absolute slew of stills dropped by iQIYI.
Then again, he does appear in iQIYI dramas more than for any other production company.
Those stills were released on Weibo this morning, along with a Happy Birthday message, and include photos of Chen Zhe Yuan as characters in Cdramas like this year’s The White Olive Tree, as well as in Dark Night and Dawn, Mr. Bad, Hello Dear Ancestors, Sword and Fairy 4, and Handsome Siblings.
The message from iQIYI also mentioned the dramas, but made sure viewers remembered how wonderful the actor is in them:
Everything is interesting, and the characters are super eye-catching. We believe that every work of Chen Zhe Yuan must have left a deep impression on you
Chen Zhe Yuan got his start in the acting world with a main role in All About Secrets in 2017 and, yep it is another iQIYI drama.
He has gone on to have starring roles in The Legend of Zu, Season 2, Hello Dear Ancestors, Detective Chinatown, Handsome Siblings, Renascence, Our Secret, Mr. Bad, Hidden Love, The Princess and the Werewolf, Sword and Fairy 4, Dark Night and Dawn, The White Olive Tree and Fated Hearts.
Other than Hidden Love and The Princess and the Werewolf, they were all iQIYI series.
We are also currently not-so-patiently waiting for four other Chinese dramas starring Chen Zhe Yuan to premiere (hopefully in early 2026?) — Jiang Shan Wei Pin, Light the Dark, Chasing Dreams, and Winner is King, while he also has a supporting role in The Golden Hairpin.
