PLOT
Wen Ding Yi (played by Xu Ruo Han) is the daughter of former Vice Minister of Revenue Wen Lu. Refusing to believe her father is guilty of corruption, she plans a journey north to seek out her elder brother for more clues. At the same time, Prince Chun, Yuwen Hong Ce (Wang Xing Yue), is tasked by imperial order to investigate court corruption and also sets off for distant Liaoshan.
The two decide to travel together.
On their journey, they stand up for justice, punish the wicked, and uphold virtue. They thwart a conspiracy by unscrupulous individuals who are minting counterfeit coins for profit, expose fraudulent charlatans preying on the gullible, and capture villains who plague the common people.

No set premiere information has been released yet, as Love in Red Dust only ended its filming in mid-August, 2025, except that the Chinese drama is currently scheduled to drop some time in 2026.
