Last week, I talked about the 1 million pre-orders the upcoming Chinese drama Shadow Love has already earned, as well as showcased the slew of gorgeous character visuals iQIYI had dropped to promote it.
This week, iQIYI is now promoting the 2.5 million pre-orders Shadow Love has earned — a huge increase of more than 1.5 million people pre-ordering the C-drama in just a few days.
The Chinese drama also now has a premiere date of August 24th on iQIYI.
That 2.5 million reservations announcement came with a pretty poster of leads Ryan Cheng (aka Cheng Lei) and Song Yi, and a message:
