Not that anyone who is watching the massively successful The Immortal Ascension will be surprised, but news dropped earlier today that the Chinese cultivation drama is the #1 most-watched show on Netflix in Taiwan.
The C-drama hit #1 on the streaming platform in Taiwan on July 31st and, according to Flix Patrol, is still sitting there for the second day today.
Along with that nugget of niceness, YOUKU has also released yet another poster of actor Yang Yang looking hotter than hell as protagonist Han Li to celebrate.
They also excitedly commented:

Of course, it’s not just Taiwanese viewers who are going nuts over The Immortal Ascension and Yang Yang’s role in it.
The Chinese drama has already exceeded 10000 on YOUKU’s heat index in China, and it has only been streaming for four days.
It is also extremely popular internationally, with the cultivation series currently one of the most talked about Chinese dramas on several forums dedicated to Asian dramas, and especially among people who weren’t previously familiar with this type of plot.

For those looking for The Immortal Ascension to be streaming on Netflix in their region, however, sorry, it’s not.
