Along with the huge number of promotional pieces being dropped for Cheng Yi’s new wuxia drama The Journey of Legend this morning, a stunning series of The Journey of Legend ink wash posters were also released by Tencent Video on their Weibo account.
Posters that are part of a slew of incredibly beautiful visuals released for the Chinese transmigration drama over the last few weeks, and that feature ink wash illustrations of all of The Journey of Legend‘s main characters.
Tencent also commented about the ink wash illustrations:
Just sneaked a peek at the scroll of mountains and seas 👀 (To the Mountains and Seas is the title of the drama in China).
A young man in white, spirited and bold; a mysterious hero treading through the snow; a fateful clash under suddenly ink-dark swirling clouds. Kin or foe? Friend or enemy?

Nope, you definitely cannot say Tencent Video doesn’t put any effort into its marketing of its dramas, as just about every promotional piece released for The Journey of Legend has been exceptional.

The 40-episode drama itself stars Cheng Yi (Mysterious Lotus Casebook), Gulnezer Bextiyar (Snow Eagle Lord), Eleanor Lee (Fake Princess), Xu Zhen Xuan (Fangs of Fortune), Liu Meng Rui (Love and Redemption) and Ding Xiao Ying (Under the Moonlight).
