With still no word on a premiere date for Liu Xue Yi and Tan Song Yun’s latest drama Against the Current (my most anticipated drama of 2026), we did get some new stills today to make the pain of waiting just that little bit less.
The set of three stills were released on Tencent’s Weibo account and all stress the love of family with the message:
An auspicious year brings love, as deep affection fills the family. The warmth of everyday life is the greatest love in the world.
Along with the stills, Tencent confirmed the entire cast (which, I must point out, is huge).

I will let you know as soon as its premiere date is officially confirmed. Right now, rumors say some time in August, but I have a feeling it could very well be before that.
