PLOT
Lan Yi (played by Tong Da Wei), the director of Wuyi County Museum, is troubled by a photo of Song Dynasty paper circulating on the black market. He believes it to be a unique national treasure from the Song Dynasty, unprecedented in history.
To protect the artifact, Lan Yi does not hesitate to tarnish his own reputation, posing as a relic dealer who steals from his own museum. He teams up with criminal police officer Wang Sen (played by Li Ze Feng) to infiltrate the “antiques circle.”
After painstakingly capturing the criminal gang that looted Xu Weili’s tomb, they discover that several volumes of the national treasure have already been smuggled to Hangzhou.
Lan Yi and Wang Sen go to Hangzhou, where they navigate through dealings with various cunning criminals, ultimately intercepting the Xu Weili documents at Hong Kong port just as they are about to be shipped abroad.
