PLOT
Zhan Peng (played by Yang Xu Wen) is the son of a railway police officer who was posthumously honored as a martyr years ago after dying in the line of duty. Zhan Peng had always hoped to return to the place where his father once worked.
However, upon arriving in Xiatong and starting his job, he finds the situation far more complicated than he had imagined. When he first meets Tu Hong Jiang (played by Wang Yan Hui), he is distrustful of the veteran policeman. Tu Hong Jiang’s suspicious behavior while handling a drug trafficking case makes Zhan Peng wary of him.
Yet, as time passes, Tu Hong Jiang proves his integrity through his actions. As they work together on cases, Zhan Peng gradually develops respect for Tu Hong Jiang, and the two eventually join forces to bring the mastermind behind the crimes to justice.
