While it will be an eon before we actually get to see the results of the four months of work just completed for Chinese drama The Road to Splendor, we do have confirmation today that the historical romance series has wrapped its filming.
The Deng Ke-directed series stars Ding Yu Xi (Love in Pavilion) and Ancy Deng (Melody of Golden Age) as the main couple, and with Fan Shi Ran, Dong Zi Fan, Bai Shu just three members of what looks like an exceptionally talented cast.
A cast that has already helped The Road to Splendor garner over 500,000 reservations on Tencent Video, and we’re at least a year away from its premiere.
Those cast members, and a few others, also appear in the very pretty The Road to Splendor stills that have just been dropped by Tencent Video in celebration of the filming wrap.

Yep, it’s pretty obvious we’re going to be getting another epic adventure when this one eventually sees the light of day.
