Upcoming food-themed Chinese drama Her (aka 她的生存之道 or Ta De Sheng Cun Zhi Dao) has its 3-day countdown to premiere poster out.
The atmospheric poster features male lead Lu Tian Chi (played by Eric Wang), and was uploaded to Tencent Video’s Weibo account earlier today with the comment:
“3 Days Until the Premiere of #Her#” (Titled ‘Her Way of Survival’ in China)
Only 3 days left until the premiere of #Her#!
According to this penguin’s calculations (playful reference to Tencent’s mascot), his life is quietly changing—Lu Tian Chi (@王传君 on Weibo) is about to land a “big deal” in three days.
Is it fate’s arrangement or the start of a turnaround?
Starting July 21st, every day at 18:00, lock in on Tencent!
Her stars Eric Wang and Leah Dou, and tells the story of boxer Liu Yan (played by Leah Dou) who leaves the boxing ring to try her luck in the world of gourmet cuisine.
All while meeting a strange cast of characters, including the decadent lawyer Lu Tian Chi, and on a quest to find her missing mother.

WeTV’s YouTube channel also released the C-drama’s latest trailer earlier this week.
That trailer shows a drama that, while definitely grittier than we often get in Chinese dramas, makes Her look like it will be highly emotionally charged and pretty damn gripping.
Her drops on Tencent Video in China and on WeTV internationally on Monday, July 21st. Look out for it.
