If you’re a fan of well-written and acted mystery/detective-themed stories that take place in ancient China, you may want to check out the latest iQIYI drama The Wanted Detective.
Wang Xing Yue and Julia Xiang’s The Wanted Detective premiered on iQIYI yesterday, and has already earned 8000 on that platform’s heat index.
So, yep, audiences have tuned in in substantial numbers and are sticking around so far. Although, I will warn you, it takes the Chinese drama up to about mid-Episode 2 before the story really takes off.
With 10000 on iQIYI signifying that a drama is a solid success, let’s hope the quite-good-so-far C-drama continues to climb the platform’s index then, eh?
