After kicking off filming in June, upcoming Tencent mini drama The Awakening wrapped its filming today.
Wrap photos of Zhang Kang Le, Zhou Jie Qiong and the other main and lead cast members dropped via Tencent Video’s Weibo channel this morning right after the closing ceremony was held.
The nine wrap photos of the cast were released with each actor being named, and their Weibo account tagged, along with the message:

With the Chinese drama being only 12 episodes, the filming period for the series was also quite short.
It kicked off on June 5th and wrapped up just over eight weeks later in August.
The Awakening plot
The drama is set in the fictional city of Wangcheng, and revolves around the fantasy adventure story of an amnesiac “47” who awakens his memories and uncovers past secrets while helping his companions escape from evil forces in a sewer environment.
