Synopsis
The Awakening (titled 四十七 / “47”) is an intense fantasy action-adventure and revenge drama centered on a mysterious protagonist known only by his codename “47.”
After being betrayed and imprisoned with his father by a once-trusted brotherhood, he escapes and sets out alone to hunt down the traitors and uncover the truth behind his father’s fall.
In his journey through the gritty underworld of Wangcheng and beyond, 47 crosses paths with Qi Jun, drawing him into a larger conspiracy involving deadly enemies and fractured loyalties.
Pursued by former allies and shadowy forces alike, 47 must fight to reclaim his past — and ultimately survive long enough to reveal a hidden secret that concerns his father’s legacy.
