Plot Synopsis
Combined Arms is a modern military drama centered on elite soldiers from different branches of the Chinese military as they undergo experimental joint combat training and overseas operations.
The story follows Han Jialiang, a highly skilled tank commander, and Lu Yihang, an exceptional army aviation pilot. The two first meet during an international military exchange that is disrupted by a sudden terrorist attack, forcing them to fight side by side under life-threatening circumstances. However, misunderstandings and their competitive personalities quickly turn their relationship into a rivalry.
Upon returning home, both men are selected to participate in the experimental “Sun Wu System,” an advanced battlefield integration platform designed to coordinate multi-branch military operations. As part of a newly formed combined experimental battalion, they undergo intense training exercises, technical coordination drills, disaster response missions, and simulated warfare scenarios.
Despite their constant clashes, Han Jialiang and Lu Yihang gradually develop mutual respect and trust. Through repeated challenges, combat simulations, and real-world peacekeeping missions overseas, they grow both as soldiers and leaders. Their journey ultimately transforms them from rivals into trusted comrades, demonstrating the power of unity, discipline, and teamwork in modern warfare.
