Updated August 1st: The Chinese drama is now at 2.5 million reservations (new celebratory poster below) and counting.
Legend of the Female General, the upcoming Chinese war-themed historical romance drama, has just surpassed 2 million reservations on Tencent Video.
That announcement was made by Tencent on their Weibo account earlier today right after the C-drama’s premiere date was announced, along with yet another utterly beautiful poster promoting the new series.
The poster, which features protagonists He Yan and Xiao Jue (aka Zhou Ye and Cheng Lei) in the midst of a battle, also promotes the series’ premiere date on Tencent of August 6th.
It was released on Tencent’s Weibo account, with the message:
