Plot Synopsis
Rose and Gun is a contemporary military romance drama that follows the emotional journeys of two couples connected through their experiences with the People’s Liberation Army Navy.
At the center is Tang Xin, an independent journalist skeptical of marriage who, after a blind date, meets Wu Si, a disciplined and principled Marine Corps captain. Though their values and personalities initially clash, shared experiences in training, rescue missions, and the pressures of military life gradually draw them closer, turning rivalry into deep affection.
Parallel to them is the story of Lan Yangyang, a fresh medical graduate whose impulsive romance with officer Zong Qing tests the realities of long separations, career expectations, and emotional resilience.
As both couples confront conflict, distance, and the unique challenges of life tied to military service, Rose and Gun explores how love, loyalty, and honor can endure even under the strictest conditions.
