Plot Synopsis
Shang Guan Cheng Ming was once a wealthy and respected young man whose life is shattered when his family is brutally annihilated in a scheme orchestrated by the powerful Tianxiang Sect.
Forced into hiding under a new identity, he finds himself drawn into the murky underworld of fraudulent religious sects, charlatan masters, and metaphysical scams used to exploit ordinary people.
During his quest for vengeance and truth, Shang Guan meets the enigmatic elderly master Jin Buhuan, a former insider of the secretive Jiang Xiang Sect. Under Jin’s guidance, Shang Guan begins to unravel the tangled web of deceit behind his family’s downfall and infiltrates the organization responsible.
Along the way, he reconnects with Jiang Fei Yan, an opera actress tied to the sect and the catalyst for much of his suffering. Their reunion and complicated emotional entanglement fuel both the mystery and the human drama at the heart of the series.
Together, they expose criminal conspiracies, confront dangerous enemies, and fight for justice in a world where belief and exploitation collide.
