Stills of the Chinese drama’s three leads released
Jing Tian, Vin Zhang and Yang Hao Yu’s new drama Long Gu Fen Xiang (no English title as yet) has officially wrapped its filming today, and released six cool stills from the upcoming C-drama in celebration.
The stills feature all three leads, and arrived with a short note from Tencent Video about its plot:
A sheer cliff rises thousands of feet; trekking through the mountains to a secluded spot, searching for the mysterious dragon bones.
Long Gu Fen Xiang (aka 龙骨焚箱 or Dragon Bone Burning Box) started filming on June 10th in Furong Town, western Hunan, and officially ended its five-month filming schedule today, November 6th.

Production details for Long Gu Fen Xiang
Li Mu Ge (Light Beyond the Reed) is directing, with Yue Xu (The Unseen Sister) screenwriting.
The Chinese supernatural romance drama also features a supporting cast that includes Yu Nan, Ge Qui Gu, Yang Yu Xi, Liu Chang, Duan Yu and Wu Sheng.

The plot of Long Gu Fen Xiang tells the story of Meng Qianzi, the Queen of the Mountain Spirits, and a mysterious man named Jiang Lian, as they embark on a fantastical adventure to unravel a thousand-year-old mystery.
The earliest the Chinese drama will premiere is some time in 2026, but I will keep you abreast of all the news here on Michelle Topham, plus promote all the promo visuals that are released (Chinese promo pieces are always so cool, aren’t they?), as it heads towards that date.
Meanwhile, enjoy today’s stills.
