iQIYI is reminding fans of the very popular Chinese drama Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty that Season 3 is still on its way.
That reminder came with a new, very atmospheric, Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty, Season 3 poster via the streaming platform’s Weibo account this morning, as China celebrates the Mid-Autumn Festival (on October 6th this year).

Officially titled Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty 3: To Changan, it follows on from the second season of the wuxia mystery thriller drama, which streamed its final episode on August 2nd, 2024.
Like the first two seasons, Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty 3: To Changan is again directed by Bai Shan and stars the superb ensemble main cast of Yang Xu Wen, Yang Zhi Gang, Gao Si Wen, Chen Chuang, and Sun Xue Ning.
Sadly, however, even with the new poster, don’t get your hopes up about Season 3 dropping soon as the drama only finished filming on May 31st, 2025.
That means it is very likely to be sometime in 2026 at the earliest before Season 3 drops. I will be back as more information is released.
