Upcoming fantasy rom-com C-drama My Page in the 90s has just exceeded 300,000 reservations.
The milestone was announced by Tencent Video via their social media accounts, with the Chen Xing Xu and Wang Yu Wen-led series likely due to premiere relatively soon considering it ended its filming almost a year ago. (On February 23rd, 2025).

Who is in the My Page in the 90s cast?
My Page in the 90s is directed by Lin Zi Ping.
Considering this is his first drama since the 2021 C-drama To Be With You, and I am a huge fan of his 2020 offering Let Life Be Beautiful, this Chinese rom-com went on my ‘must watch’ list months ago when it first began filming.
Along with Chen Xing Xu and Wang Yu Wen as the leads, My Page in the 90s (aka 突然的喜欢) also features a supporting cast that includes Kido Ma, Zeng Meng Xue, Yu Xiang, Ding Ran and Wang Han Wen.
Interestingly, Kido Ma also has a supporting role in Chen Xing Xu’s other just-premiered drama Love Between Lies and, if that’s not enough, he also plays his best friend in both dramas.
I guess these two must be quite friendly in real life by now as well, right?
Now, while I can take or leave Chen Xing Xu (sorry, but I think he’s a bit of a bland actor). I am a huge Kido Ma fan (loved him in My Bargain Queen and in the currently airing Love Between Lines) so I will watch any drama he appears in.
At least for a few episodes.
What is the My Page in the 90s plot?
If you enjoy an isekai-type plot (isekai being ‘transported to another world’), this one might grab your attention. It has mine.
That’s because the My Page in the 90s plot features a woman being transmigrated into a novel (and, as a fan of the Chinese donghua How Dare You!?, sign me up for that:
When a 2023 relationship advice streamer finds herself transported into a classic romance novel from 1998, she encounters a seemingly innocent but secretly manipulative CEO. A battle of wits and counter-strategies ensues – who will ultimately prevail?
To return to her familiar reality, the streamer, Lin Huan’er (played by Wang Yu Wen), embarks on a series of schemes to win over the CEO, Gao Haiming (Chen Xing Xu), but her cleverness backfires. Just as she’s about to complete her mission and leave the fictional world, she realizes she’s become deeply attached and doesn’t want to leave.
From “wanting to leave but staying” to “wanting to stay but having to leave,” will the lovers finally find their happy ending?
No word yet on when My Page in the 90s is due to premiere but, having watched the promotion cycles for Chinese drama for years now, it seems very likely to me to be soon.
With rumors from Chinese netizens now pointing to January 22nd, I will let you know as soon as I know.
Update January 20th: Yep, as is often the case, My Page in the 90s has just been announced as having a January 22nd premiere date. You have got to give it to Chinese netizens, they are rarely wrong.
