New poster out for Chinese romance drama Sniper Butterfly.
The latest Sniper Butterfly poster dropped via the official Tencent Video Weibo account this morning, June 20th, 2025, along with the message:

The “Koi Couple” — Cen Jin (@ChenYanXi_Michelle) and Li Wu (@ZhouKeYu) — can’t hide the sparkle in their eyes when they gaze at each other. Those butterflies swirling around them? Pure love, materialized.

The Chinese drama is based on the web novel “Ju Ji Hu Die” (狙击蝴蝶) by Qi Bao Su (七宝酥). It finished its filming on September 24th, 2024, and was awarded a distribution license at the beginning of 2025.
Yes, we have been waiting a long time for this to drop.
The C-drama is directed by Huang Tien Jen (Dear Enemy), while screenplay is by Xu Yi Tian (Our Times).
It stars Michelle Chen (Dear Enemy) as Cen Jin, and Daniel Zhou (A Moment But Forever) as Li Wu. An interesting pairing, I will say, if nothing else.
And, can I just add, how on earth does Michelle Chen look so young for her age — she is 42 and looks like she is in her early 20s!
Update: Sniper Butterfly‘s premiere date has just been announced for December 4th, with Tencent Video also releasing six character visuals to promote it.
