Plot Synopsis of Veil of Shadows
Lu Wuyi (Ju Jing Yi) is the youngest nine-tailed fox of the mysterious organization Wuxiangyue. While searching for the escaped fox demon Xiaowei with her older sister Wu Wangyan (Chen Du Ling), she infiltrates the Wei family mansion in Luo’an City.
Also infiltrating the mansion are Wu Shiguang (Zeng Shun Xi), burdened with a blood feud; Ji Ling (Tian Jia Rui), a sorcerer of the Shilin Sect; and Li Jie (Yan An).
In their search for the truth, they both test each other and cooperate, but their underlying motives differ. In the struggles for the power of the Dragon God, they repeatedly alter the course of fate. To protect peace in the human world, they make difficult choices and sacrifices, ultimately succeeding in destroying the Nine-Headed Serpent, the leader of all demons, thus completing their eternal quest for true love and redemption.
