I have got to say, as character visuals go, the just-dropped Where the Mask Ends character posters are all kinds of glamour and pretty.
The posters, which follow on from two absolutely stunning ones for the two leads — Tian Xi Wei and Yan An — feature 10 of the Chinese drama’s main supporting cast, and have each character dressed in their finest and standing against a royal gold background.
Elegant indeed.
Along with the character posters, YOUKU also confirmed the Where the Mask Ends main staff and supporting and guest star cast list. They are:

And yep, I will add that the main and supporting cast list is interesting as it’s a nice mix of veteran actors and young not-so-over-exposed actors that deserve even more, or heftier roles, than they’ve been given in the past.
Where the Mask Ends is still in the middle of filming, so it will be a year or so before we get to see the fruits of these actors’ labor, but I am sufficiently interested to definitely be giving this one a go.
From the just-released batch of first stills the Chinese drama’s cinematography also looks markedly beautiful.
