Three more stills have been released from upcoming historical thriller The Vendetta of An starring Cheng Yi, Liu Yi Jun, Wang Jin Song, Zhou Qi, Tong Meng Shi and Xu Lu.
All three feature main lead Cheng Yi as Xie Huai An, chief clerk of Huainan County, along with Liu Yi Jun, Zhang Han Yu and Cheng Tai Shen.
An official announcement as to the Chinese drama’s premiere date on YOUKU has not yet been released but, fingers crossed, with the amount of promotional material that has been dropping in the last month, it should be soon.
Meanwhile, YOUKU released the latest The Vendetta of An stills with the comment:
Xie Huai’an (@成毅) hides his edge while facing off brilliantly with Liu Yi Jun (@刘奕君actor), Zhang Han Yu (@张涵予), and Cheng Tai Shen (@成泰燊) — are they allies or enemies? The tension has YOUKU’s heart racing!

The C-drama is directed by Lin Feng, who also directed Cheng Yi in the upcoming The Journey of Legend, and is written by Shuang Cheng (Heroes).
When The Vendetta of An does eventually release (titled 长安二十四计 in Mandarin Chinese), the Chinese drama will run for 30 episodes of 45 minutes each so, in the grand scheme of things, it is one of the shorter ones.
