Plot Synopsis
Set during the Wude reign, The Vendetta of An follows the power struggle after the Huben Dark Guards once dominated Chang’an. When feudal lord Xiao Wuyang seizes power and the emperor is dethroned, the feared Huben vanish. Though rumors spread that their leader Yan Fengshan plans to use the fallen sovereign as leverage.
Xie Huai An, a seemingly low-profile official from Huainan whose family was brutally killed years ago, sees this upheaval as his chance for vengeance.
Having spent a decade preparing, he allies with figures like General Gu Yu, swordsman Ye Zheng, and strategist Han Zi Ling to wage a shadow war against the remnants of Huben power. Their battle of wits and blades could determine the fate of the empire and settle old scores once and for all.
