Numerous promotional pieces have been dropping for the upcoming YOUKU drama The Vendetta of An since early June, although we still don’t have a premiere date for the Cheng Yi-led series as of yet.
Those promo pieces have obviously helped the Chinese historical political intrigue drama gain traction, however, as YOUKU has just announced The Vendetta of An has just exceeded 2 million reservations on their platform.
Along with that announcement earlier today, we also got a cool poster of male lead Cheng Yi along with a comment from YOUKU:

As for the expected premiere date for The Vendetta of An, nothing has yet been officially released by YOUKU, but rumor in China is currently saying we can expect the Chinese drama to drop some time in October or November.
We will update you here on YOUKU as more information is released. (Update: Rumor was incorrect — the Chinese drama now has a December 12th premiere date set, and has just dropped a slew of cool-looking character stills)
