I am thrilled to report the long-awaited Cheng Yi-led historical mystery thriller The Vendetta of An finally may finally have a premiere date and, if rumor coming out of China is correct, praise all the Gods, it will be in early to mid-December.
That Vendetta of An premiere date has been rumored to be December 12th for the last few days. (Update: Yes, that premiere date has been officially confirmed. Yay, eh?!
Especially as the production committee is beginning to release numerous promo visuals, with today’s being a slew of character stills both of Cheng Yi and of the huge number of veteran actors appearing in the drama.

What with Cheng Yi also teaming up for The Vendetta of An, this lineup has already maxed out the expectations and the quality is guaranteed!
And yep, once you see the names of the actors appearing in the C-drama, not only will you agree, but you will be desperate for this one to drop as well.
That incredible line-up, by the way, includes Liu Yi Jun (Guardians of the Dafeng), Wang Jin Song (Defying the Storm), Zhou Qi (Legend of Zang Hai), Tong Meng Shi (Sword and Beloved), and Xu Lu (Treasures Around) in main roles.
Meanwhile, the Chinese drama’s absolutely packed veteran cast includes Ni Da Hong, Han Tong Sheng, Yu Kang, Zhang Han Yu, Song Jia Lun, Li Guang Fu, Huang Jue, Yin Zhu Sheng, Wang Mao Lei, Xu Yong Ge, and Li Bo.
Enjoy the slew of The Vendetta of An character stills that have just released and, with less than two weeks before it premieres (hopefully?!?), reserve the Chinese drama on YOUKU.
Or, if you are in a select number of regions around the world, you may also be lucky to be getting it on Netflix (I checked and, yes, it is on Netflix in the U.S.)
And, of course, watch or rewatch the C-drama’s trailer as this one looks spectacular.
