My Page in the 90s still getting new promo pieces released
More My Page in the 90s stills have been released today, as the Chen Xing Xu and Wang Yu Wen-led Chinese fantasy romance drama has just ended its 24 episode run on Tencent Video and WeTV internationally.
That, however, hasn’t stopped Tencent still promoting the drama.
A drama that has not been able to keep up with Chen Xing Xu’s other romance drama — Love Between Lines — which premiered on iQIYI a couple of weeks before My Page in the 90s, and has since become one of the most popular romance dramas of recent months.
Internationally at least.
That’s why six more My Page in the 90s stills came out today, along with a message from Tencent saying:
Falling in love is a surprise attack; before you even realize it, your heart has already lit up an entire starry sky for each other.

The C-drama itself is a completely different animal to Chen Xing Xu’s Love Between Lines.

But if you can stop comparing them and look at My Page in the 90s for what it is — a quirky, marvelously-acted and very funny rom-com, most of which takes place within the pages of a novel — you will probably enjoy it is much as I have.

My Page in the 90s details
The fantasy romance drama has a stellar cast, headed by Chen Xing Xu and Wang Yu Wen, but also featuring the wonderful Kido Ma (who, interestingly, plays Chen Xing Xu’s character’s best friend in both Love Between Lines and My Page in the 90s), Zeng Meng Xue, Wang Han Wen, Yu Xiang, Ding Ran, Mi Zhuo Qing and Wang Ce.
The drama, which is directed by Lin Zi Peng (Count Your Lucky Stars) tells the story of popular love advice streamer, Lin Huan Er, who doesn’t believe in love, but who gets pulled into the pages of a book and is given various assignments to complete by a video game-style overseer that appears to be in charge of the world.

One of those assignments is getting CEO Gao Hai Ming (Chen Xing Xu) to fall in love with her. An assignment she must complete, or else she will never be able to return to the real world.
The problem is Huan Er has zero interest in ever having a man fall in love with her, while Hai Ming is cold-hearted, has his own problems, and is not interested in her at all.

What should she do then when she suddenly finds herself falling for him? And it appears he might have feelings for her? While, at the same time, both of them are trying to out scheme the other.
Yes, I admit, it’s so crazy inducing to watch as they both end up complicating things for the other for the silliest of reasons that you want to slap them both upside of the head. But they also turned out to be one of my favorite C-drama couples this year.
And, now I have watched every episode, My Page in the 90s is not only one of my favorite romance dramas this year, but also one of the few C-dramas I have seen in the last couple of decades that I will likely rewatch. It’s so very well-written.
Enjoy the new My Page in the 90s stills, and check out the drama via WeTV.
It’s the perfect fantasy romance drama as, not only is it completely addictive, but every episode is already out so you can now binge-watch it as well.
