Love Story in the 1970s premieres on February 21st
Four stills dropped this morning for upcoming Chinese period drama Love Story in the 1970s.
The stills feature leads Arthur Chen and Sun Qian, with Wang Tian Chen and Cristy Guo also getting their own photos.
The C-drama itself got its official premiere date a couple of days ago — February 21st — and is due to premiere on both CCTV and Tencent Video in China, with WeTV likely streaming it internationally. (Yep, WeTV has been confirmed as the international distributor for the Chinese romance)
Of course, it’s the first Arthur Chen drama to release since last year’s big hit When Destiny Brings the Demon, so fans are eager for this one.
And yes, he does look extremely young in this one, doesn’t he? Especially if you remember how mature he appeared playing protagonist Sima Jiao in When Destiny Brings the Demon.

I have a feeling, due to Arthur Chen’s huge fan army alone, Love Story in the 1970s is very likely to be a hit. Now let’s hope it’s written well too, eh?
