It’s I Am Nobody‘s Peng Yu Chang’s birthday today!
Peng Yu Chang hits 31-years-old today and, in celebration, gets a cute Happy Birthday visual from Tencent Video to celebrate.
The visual is a still from the Chinese actor’s upcoming drama The Strongest Sect of All Time (aka Wan Gu Zui Qiang Zong), and has Peng Yu Chang as male lead Jun Chang Xiao, the new sect leader of a failing sect who must do everything he can to bring the group back to their former glory.
Along with the visual, Tencent’s birthday message to the actors says:
Not bound by rules, not afraid of storms, leading the sect only for the sake of iron will. Happy birthday to the leader of the Iron Bone Sect, Jun Chang Xiao.
…and, as you would expect, also reminds fans to reserve the upcoming drama on their platform.
Peng Yu Chang’s career up to now
If you are a fan of Peng Yu Chang, you will know he is most recently known as reluctant protagonist Zhang Chu Lan in I Am Nobody, and its sequel I Am Nobody: The Showdown Between Yin & Yang.
He has also starred in Cdramas like Lady of Law, Run for Young, Weapon & Soul (both Seasons 1 and 2), The Prince of Tennis, and Men with Sword (both seasons).
Most recently, he played Song Yi Li in the touching life-themed film Always Have Always Will, and has lead roles in several other upcoming movies.
His latest drama, No Pain No Gain, will be releasing in late January, 2026, and he is currently filming Jiao Feng.
As for The Strongest Sect of All Time, that drama wrapped its filming on July 16th, with Tencent dropping a slew of cast photos when it did, and is now in post-production.
