Elegant first poster features the leads in evening dress
Ao Rui Peng and Shen Yu Jie‘s new romance drama My Queen, My Rules began filming on November 27th, and has just dropped a ‘Couples Poster’ featuring the main leads to remind us what’s coming.
The poster features Ao Rui Peng as arrogant CEO, Cen Sen and Shen Yu Jie as the tsundere Ji Ming Shu, with Cen Sen seated as Ming Shu perches on the chair’s arm.
iQIYI also spoke about the C-drama’s plot:

Ao Rui Peng and Shen Yu Jie’s career up until now
Of course, Ao Rui Peng in particular is currently one of the C-drama world’s most sought after actors.
His recent dramas include Coroner’s Diary, The Seven Relics of Ill Omen, Love Never Fails (support role), and Moonlight Mystique this year alone, with other main roles in Hero is Back, Wanru’s Journey, The Blood of Youth and Wrong Carriage, Right Groom to name dramas in just the last couple of years.
The incredibly beautiful Shen Yu Jie has also been getting more exposure lately.
She also starred in Coroner’s Diary in 2026, so this will be a reunion for the two main actors, as well as in Double Fugue, and The Fearless Season 2 this year.
The contemporary romance drama is being directed by Randy Che (director of The Best Thing), and also features an excellent supporting cast that includes my beloved Wang Duo (come on, that man is just luscious!), Kong Lin, Sui Jun Bo, Zhang Lei, and Gao Shu Guang in supporting roles.
Filming for My Queen, My Rules will likely run through February at least, with the earliest possible release for the Chinese drama likely to be late in the fourth quarter of 2026.
It is a contemporary drama, though, so post-production shouldn’t take as long as your typical wuxia.
