Plot Synopsis

Rose Finch is a suspenseful mystery set in Republican-era Shanghai (1929), where a chilling series of murders targeting showgirls at prestigious clubs shakes the city.

When a double homicide at the luxurious Vermilion Bird Hall (Zhuque Hall) stirs whispers among both the elite and the underworld, a brilliant forensic expert and a sharp-witted detective find themselves investigating not just a string of killings but a deep-rooted conspiracy that reaches into Shanghai’s darkest corners.

The unlikely investigative team, alongside the powerful and enigmatic proprietor of the Rose Finch dance hall, must face brutal truths, corrupted power, and shadowy forces determined to conceal their secrets.
