I would say it looks very much like Chinese Tang Dynasty drama Da Tang Mi Wu (The Mist of the Tang Dynasty) is likely to be dropping soon.
After all, a new trailer for the historical mystery drama was just released (watch below) along with six character visuals this morning.
If you are a fan of series like Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty, Tang Dynasty Unusual News Record, The Imperial Coroner and A League of Nobleman, you will want to watch this as its plot runs on similar lines.

In this case, Da Tang Mi Wu stars Feng Shao Feng, who is one of the main leads in the just-ended Lady Liberty, Li Yu from Fated Hearts and The Demon Hunter’s Romance, Shao Yun from Love Like the Galaxy and Flourished Peony, and Nick Shan of Moonlit Reunion and Generation to Generation.
The wonderful Vivian Wu is in a support role as Empress Wu (appropriate name!), as is Xu Hai Qiao who I loved as the obnoxious heir in the recent The Epoch of Miyu. He is also wearing one of those hot white wigs we all get hot and bothered over in this.

The Da Tang Mi Wu plot
The C-drama follows detective Di Ren Jie (played by Feng Shao Eng), who leaves the capital after becoming disillusioned with the Empress’ reign, and heads to Jiangnan:
Set against the backdrop of the reign of Emperor Wu of Tang, the story focuses on the thrilling journey of Di Renjie (Feng Shao Feng) as he is ordered to inspect the Jiangnan region.
Five bizarre cases reveal the complex landscape of power struggles beneath the glamorous facade of the prosperous era. Di Ren Jie inspects Jiangnan and forms a detective team with Duan Shisi (Li Yu), Chu Qinglan (Shao Yun), and Lin Buyan (Shan Jing Yao aka Nick Shan) to solve bizarre cases with elements of Eastern supernatural tales.
Yep, the story is very Strange Tales of Tang Dynasty-y, and a drama I am already invested in before it even starts, as this kind of spooky historical drama is right up my alley.

Enjoy the Da Tang Mi Wu character visuals, and look out for it dropping on WeTV, in my estimate, some time in the next week. (It is scheduled to release in May, Tencent Video is now pushing reservations, so we will be getting it soon!)
