With The Princess’s Gambit premiering on WeTV/Tencent Video in less than an hour (and as a huge Liu Xue Yi fan, I am so freaking excited, I can’t) Tencent has just dropped the Chinese drama’s release schedule.
For the first week at least.
That release schedule arrived with the usual huge poster featuring the drama’s main actors – in the case of The Princess’s Gambit, that’s male lead Liu Xue Yi, Chancellor Shen Zai Ye and Meng Zi Yi who is exiled princess Jiang Tao Hua of Zhao — and dates for when the first 12 episodes will drop on the streaming platform.
That, of course, is different depending on if you are a Tencent SVIP or VIP member (I bloody hate that Tencent does this, don’t you?!)
That The Princess’s Gambit release schedule then, looks like this:
For SVIP members
- 25th June 2025: Episodes 1-4
- 26th June 2025: Episodes 5-6
- 27th June 2025: Episodes 7-8
- 28th June 2025: Episodes 9-10
- 29th June 2025: Episodes 11-12
while, for normal VIP members, the release schedule is slightly different:
- 25th June 2025: Episodes 1-3
- 26th June 2025: Episodes 4-5
- 27th June 2025: Episodes 6-7
- 28th June 2025: Episodes 8-9
- 29th June 2025: Episodes 10-11
