Mo Li drops posters of Ryan Cheng and Bai Lu to keep excitement ramped up
Even though Ryan Cheng and Bai Lu’s upcoming drama Mo Li only wrapped its filming schedule early last month, it is obvious to me the Chinese series is likely to be a big hit when it drops as Tencent Video is now reporting it already has 1.5 million reservations.
Considering it is likely to be at least a year before Mo Li sees the light of day, you can only imagine how many million more reservations the fantasy romance will probably grab before it premieres.
To keep the excitement ramped up, of course Tencent Video had to release a couple more Mo Li stills of Ryan Cheng and Bai Lu. Just to wet your appetite, you understand.

Along with the two very pretty visuals, they also commented:
Amidst lingering doubts, thoughts gradually become clear. Feelings rise like clouds, and longing surges like a tide.
Production details for Mo Li
Mo Li is co-directed by iconic Hong Kongese director Leung Sing Kuen (director of The Mystic Nine Against the Coming Storm), and Lam Yuk Fan (Detective Investigation Files).
It is written by Xiao Xiang Dong Er, who has had hits with the recently released supernatural drama The Demon Hunter’s Romance, this year’s romance drama Feud (which also starred Bai Lu) and A Moment But Forever, so this one should be excellent.
It is currently listed as a 40-episode drama although, like me, you probably know that can change as post-production continues.
And yep, along with the two main leads, who are two of the most-popular A-listers in China right now, we also get a fabulous group of supporting actors that includes Cai Zheng Jie, Lin Mu Ran, Yang Shu Yi, and Feng Xua Ya, and with guest stars like Qiu Xin Zhi, Liu Qing, and Xuan Yan.
With the way Tencent Video is already promoting this, I would say you can also expect to see a slew of new promo pieces coming out in coming months as, if my sense is correct, this is one of the dramas they will really be pushing to make a big return on their investment.
Of course, I do recommend you keep coming back to Michelle Topham regularly, as I will give you a heads up every time a new promo piece from Mo Li, and hundreds of other dramas, drop.
