Plot Synopsis
Ye Li (played by Bai Lu), the eldest daughter of the Ye family, marries into the dilapidated Dingwang Mansion and marries Dingwang Mo Xiuyuan (played by Cheng Lei), who is disabled.
On the same day, Liwang Mo Jingli and Ye Ying, the second daughter of the Ye family, also gets married. As a descendant of Lishan, Ye Li was sealed in the mountains for eight years. After marriage, she appears to be fine, but is secretly plotting to eliminate the officials who had harmed Lishan in the past.
In the process, she is suspected by Dingwang Mo Xiuyuan, who is also seeking revenge.
The two of them exert their efforts and throw a huge rock into the seemingly calm lake. Liwang Mo Jingli, who was originally Ye Li’s childhood sweetheart, is secretly stirring up trouble and plotting to usurp the throne under the unpleasant title of “Opera Prince”.
Ye Li finally joins forces with Mo Xiuyuan to help the young emperor take power, with a plan to crush the successive conspiracies of Muyanghou and Liwang, and restore peace and tranquility to the world.
